Cooked chicken (cut or shredded) 2 pounds
Cream of chicken soup 1 can
Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Roasted red pepper (chopped) 1/2 cup
Mild cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups
Refrigerated biscuit dough 1 can

Instructions:

  1. FIRST STEP: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease the bottom and sides of a baking dish.
  2. SECOND STEP: Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until the onion begins to soften.

  4. FOURTH STEP: Bake the casserole for 15 minutes. Remove the baking dish from the oven. Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture. Then, arrange the refrigerated biscuits over the cheese.
  5. FIFTH STEP: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the biscuits. Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. SIXTH STEP: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the Creamed Chicken and Biscuits Casserole as a meal in itself or with a side salad. Enjoy!
