“My new favorite party appetizer!”

These Honeymoon Stackers are a delightful appetizer that perfectly balances sweet, savory, and zesty flavors in a convenient bite-sized package. Juicy kielbasa, sweet pineapple, and tangy pickled jalapeños are stacked and coated in a flavorful teriyaki glaze, then baked until caramelized and sizzling. They’re quick to prepare and incredibly addictive!

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Kielbasa sausages 2 (14 oz)
Pineapple chunks, in juice 1 (14 oz) can
Tamed pickled jalapeños 1 (16 oz) jar
Teriyaki sauce 3 tablespoons
Brown sugar 1 tablespoon
Pineapple juice (from can) 2 tablespoons
Brine from jalapeños jar 2 teaspoons
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Toothpicks As needed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven & Prep Sheet: Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice Kielbasa: Slice the 2 (14 oz) kielbasa sausages into rounds about ½ inch thick. Arrange these sausage rounds in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Stack Ingredients: On top of each kielbasa slice, stack one chunk of pineapple (reserving the pineapple juice from the can for the sauce) and one tamed pickled jalapeño slice (reserving the brine from the jar for the sauce).
  4. Prepare Glaze: In a small bowl or a measuring cup with a spout, mix together the 3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice (from the canned pineapple), 2 teaspoons of brine from the jalapeños jar, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Whisk until all ingredients are well combined and the brown sugar has dissolved.
  5. Glaze & Secure: Drizzle the prepared sauce evenly over each stacked “Honeymoon Stacker” on the baking sheet. Then, secure each stack with a toothpick. (Make sure to do this after drizzling the glaze so the toothpicks aren’t sticky and easier to handle).
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes, or until the stackers are sizzling, the edges of the kielbasa are starting to brown, and the glaze is caramelized.
  7. Serve: Allow them to cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving warm.

Enjoy these delicious Honeymoon Stackers!
