Lobster Tails | 4 |
Unsalted Butter | 4 tablespoons |
Garlic | 4 cloves |
Lemon Juice | 1 tablespoon |
Paprika | 1 teaspoon |
Salt | To taste |
Pepper | To taste |
Fresh Parsley | For garnish |
Lemon Wedges | For serving |
Instructions:
-
Thaw Lobster: Thaw lobster tails if frozen. Refrigerate for several hours or quick-thaw in a sealed bag in cold water for 30-60 minutes.
-
Preheat Broiler: Preheat broiler to high. Position rack in the top position.
-
Prepare Lobster Tails: Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise. Gently lift the meat, leaving it attached at the tail. Place meat on top of the shells.
-
Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown). Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Broil Lobster: Brush garlic butter sauce generously over the lobster meat. Place tails on a broiler pan or baking sheet lined with foil. Broil for 10-12 minutes, or until meat is opaque and slightly browned. Watch closely, as broilers vary.
-
Garnish and Serve: Remove from broiler. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges.
