This Amish Hamburger Steak Bake is a comforting and hearty meal that’s perfect for a family dinner. The juicy hamburger steaks are smothered in a creamy mushroom sauce that’s packed with flavor.

For the Hamburger Steaks:

For the Sauce:

Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Make hamburger steaks: Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4-6 patties.
- Brown steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown steaks on both sides. Transfer to baking dish.
- Make sauce: In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic. Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Assemble bake: Pour sauce over hamburger steaks in baking dish. Cover with foil.
- Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until steaks are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F) and sauce is bubbling.
- Serve: Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
