Oven-Baked Creamy Corn and Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

  • Cooked shredded chicken – 2 cups
  • Corn kernels, drained – 1 can (15 oz)
  • Cream-style corn – 1 can (15 oz)
  • Sour cream – 1 cup
  • Grated cheddar cheese – 1 cup
  • Chopped green onions – 1/2 cup
  • All-purpose flour – 1/4 cup
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika – 1/2 tsp
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Fresh parsley – for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix Chicken and Corn: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, corn kernels, cream-style corn, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Pour the milk mixture into the chicken and corn mixture, stirring until everything is well blended.
  5. Bake: Grease a rectangular casserole dish with butter. Pour in the mixture, spreading it evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden on top and bubbling.
  6. Serve: Allow to cool slightly, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
