Instructions:

Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.

- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
 - Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt).
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
