Instructions:
Make the Cake:

Preheat and Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.

Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Prepare Chocolate Mixture:
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, shortening, and German chocolate. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
