Crispy Camembert Cheese Balls Wrapped in Savory Bacon

Ingredients:
1 wheel of Camembert cheese (cut into bite-sized portions)
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional: A drizzle of honey for a sweet touch
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the Camembert cheese into bite-sized cubes.
In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper.
Dip each Camembert cube into the beaten egg, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for all cheese cubes.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Lightly fry the cheese balls in batches for 1-2 minutes, just to crisp up the coating. This step is optional but adds extra crispiness.
Transfer the cheese balls to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve warm with a drizzle of honey (optional).
