
Cheese and Onion Sausage Rolls Recipe

Ingredients:

| Dried Thyme | 1 teaspoon | 
| Garlic Powder | 1/2 teaspoon | 
| Salt and Pepper | To taste | 
| Puff Pastry, thawed | 1 sheet | 
| Egg, beaten | 1 | 
| Sesame Seeds or Poppy Seeds (optional) | For topping | 
Instructions:

Prepare the Filling:
- Sauté the onion in olive oil until softened and golden.
 - Combine sausage meat, sautéed onion, cheeses, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.

Assemble the Sausage Rolls:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - Cut puff pastry in half lengthwise.
 - Divide sausage mixture in half. Place each portion down the center of a pastry strip.
 - Brush edges of pastry with egg. Fold over filling, pressing to seal.
 - Cut each roll into 2-3 inch pieces.
 - Score tops lightly. Brush with egg and sprinkle with seeds (optional).
