Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
 - Make hamburger steaks: Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently. Shape into 4-6 patties.
 - Brown steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown hamburger steaks on both sides. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
 - Make sauce: In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
