
Quite possibly the most delicious meal I’ve ever made — it’s unbelievably good.
These appetizers hit all the notes—sweet, savory, and crispy—made with tater tots wrapped in bacon and covered in a brown sugar–chili powder coating.
Baked Bacon-Wrapped Tater Tots
Ingredients

| Frozen tater tots | 24 |
| Bacon slices, halved | 12 |
| Brown sugar | 1/4 cup |
| Chili powder | 1 teaspoon |
| Toothpicks | As needed |
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top to help the bacon crisp. - Make the Coating:
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and chili powder. - Wrap the Tots:
Wrap each frozen tater tot with a half slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. - Coat and Arrange:
Roll each bacon-wrapped tot in the brown sugar mixture until fully covered, then set them on the wire rack. Repeat with all pieces. - Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the tater tots are golden. - Serve:
