Instructions:
- Sauté aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add onion and carrots, cook until softened (5-7 minutes).
 - Add garlic: Stir in crushed garlic, cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
 - Simmer tomatoes: Pour crushed tomatoes into the pan, bring to a gentle simmer.
 - Season: Add sugar, salt, and pepper to taste.
 - Infuse with herbs: Stir in basil and parsley. Simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until thickened.
 - Adjust consistency: Add water or broth if needed, or continue simmering for a thicker sauce.
