
Yum Yum Cake – Old Southern Recipe
This classic Southern cake is a delightful combination of sweet, tangy pineapple and rich coconut icing.

Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease Pan: Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Mix Cake Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, eggs, sugar, baking soda, and crushed pineapple. Mix until well combined.
- Bake: Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Make the Icing: While the cake is baking, prepare the icing. In a saucepan, boil sugar, margarine, and milk for two minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in coconut, vanilla, and pecans.
